2023-2024 Kindergarten - 5th Grade Enrollment
Welcome to the Cumberland Academy Family!
Cumberland Academy is a tuition-free, open-enrollment public charter school serving students in Smith and surrounding counties. We offer a unique educational experience, enhanced by state-of-the-art technology, academic rigor, and extra-curricular opportunities in academics, arts, and athletics. Applications for the 2023-2024 school year will be available online January 1, 2023 at 10:00AM.
The deadline to apply for the lottery will be February 15, 2023 at 11:59pm. One application per student. You may still apply after February 15 however your child will be placed on our waiting list. Once you apply online, you will receive a confirmation email within 3-4 business days letting you know that we received your application.
Kindergarten must be 5 by September 1st, 2023
Currently Enrolled Students:
Currently enrolled students DO NOT need to fill out the new application on the website. You will receive a Recommitment Letter in February in order to hold your child's seat for the new school year. This will be online just like last school year. If you have another child (sibling to currently enrolled student) that you are wanting to attend, you will need to submit an online application. Siblings will receive priority over the public but that does not mean they automatically receive a seat.
