Welcome to Mr. Leach's 4th grade class for 23/24. This is my 8th year with Cumberland, and it feels like home. I taught 4th grade prior to this at TISD. Before that I graduated from the University of Houston with honors, majoring in education. My expectations for my students are that they do their best every day and come ready to learn. We will incorporate new skills through whole, small-group, and virtual instruction while bringing technology into various lessons for engagement and reinforcement. Fourth grade will definitely challenge students as we begin to prepare them for next year and Middle School. We will work to make learning personal responsibility and stamina skills fun and rewarding this coming year!
