There are a few reminders about Meet the Teacher on August 13, 2020.
- You will receive an email from your child's teacher the morning of August 13. Be on the lookout for that email.
- 10 and older must wear a mask.
- Only ONE guardian per child.
- Walk on the right side of the hallway.
- Each group time for meet the teacher consists of two grade levels. There will be a specific line for each grade level to line up in to enter the building. Please get in the correct line according to your students grade level and enter in that line.
- Adults will have temperature taken.
- Bring your child's school supplies.
- There will be NO TECH FEES this year!
First Day of School
- Unfortunately, as you are all aware this school year will look different than in the years past. In order to maintain social distancing guidelines, parents will not be allowed to walk their child to class on the first day. We know this is a very important day to all of you and apologize for any inconvenience. Therefore, we highly encourage you to take your time during meet the teacher and ensure your child feels comfortable with where their class is. Rest assured, that as educators and parents ourselves, it is our top priority to make sure your child makes it to class that first day without any problems and with a smile on their face. We will have staff throughout the building to help guide the kids to the correct rooms.
Additional information
- Send a bottle of water that is labeled with your child's name on it everyday. Water fountains will be turned off this year, to help prevent the spread of sickness.
- Review the CAES website daily for updated information.
- We will have a closed campus this year, until further notice. Therefore, you may drop your child off lunch, but are not allowed to sit with them at lunch.
