Student Spot Light
Principal of the Day Harper Wiley had a great day at Cumberland Upper Elementary! She worked in her office, treated teachers with Jean passes, patrolled a tornado drill, did lunch duty and supervised a Spelling Bee! She was a busy principal.
Congratulations to 6th grader Jaxson Chavez for winning 1st place at the CAES Spelling Bee! Jaxson will represent Cumberland and all of Smith County at the Regional bee in Dallas on March 11th. More pictures of our runner up, Aliyyah and 3rd place winner after we have a run off next week for third place. Great job to ALL our spellers! We are proud of you.
