At Cumberland Academy, we believe in teaching our students the value of kindness, empathy, and community service. That's why we take part in service projects, such as donating to local organizations in need.
This month we will collect pet items to donate to Nicholas' Pet Haven. This organization is a rescue and adoption center located in Tyler. They are dedicated to saving the lives of cats and dogs in need. Their mission is to provide shelter, food, medical care, and love to lost, abandoned, unwanted, or abused animals, and find them forever homes.
From September 12-26, both elementary campuses will collect pet food, toys and cleaning supplies to donate to Nicholas' Pet Haven. To make it fun, we're adding a little friendly competition! The class with the most donations will win a Pizza Party!!!
