The technology classes at Cumberland Academy are taught with a holistic understanding of technology and how it affects our everyday life. This includes how technology has evolved from a simple abacus to the smart phones we carry with us each day. The students are taught effective ways to use technology from basic keyboarding skills to integrating the World Wide Web to discover information efficiently and effectively. Our goal is for every Cumberland Academy Elementary student to be equipped with the skills and understanding needed to be strong citizens in an ever changing environment.
