Welcome to the Cumberland Academy Family!

Cumberland Academy is a public charter school that offers a unique educational experience to students in Smith and surrounding counties. We provide our students with advanced technology, academic rigor, and extracurricular activities in academics, arts, and athletics. If you're interested in Cumberland Academy, please visit the "Our Campuses" section on our website to learn more about what we have to offer.

Lottery applications for the 2024-2025 school year will be available at 10:00 AM on January 1, 2024.
The deadline to apply for the lottery is April 1, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Only one application is allowed per student.
If you apply after April 1st, your child will be placed on our waiting list. Once you submit your application online, you will receive a confirmation email within 3-4 business days to let you know that we have received your application.

On April 1st, 2024, you will receive an email that will contain the eligibility paperwork that you need to fill out and return to us. Please be aware that you will not be able to submit any documentation until this date.
The eligibility paperwork will determine whether your child qualifies for tuition-free PreK or if you will need to pay a monthly tuition fee.

PreK students must be four years old by September 1, 2024, to be eligible for admission to our full-day PreK program.
